Finally decided to go for a high quality slipper and "they don't come no better!!".
When they arrived I thought they were a little small and considered sending them back BUT realised the thick plush sheepskin would settle with time. It has, they now fit like a glove, are supremely comfortable, and, like all things wool, keep me at the perfect temperature, not too hot, not too cold - awesome ;)

As slippers they do the job, but the stitching on the side where you pull them on needs to be stronger - both sides have burst.

Good support after knee replacement surgery, can be worn outside as well as inside. Not slippery on wooden floors. Gives good ankle support. Well made and comfortable to wear.
