There's nothing not to like about Kamik's wellington boots. The design is simple and classic, and the boot itself is so comfortable that I have no problem going on long rambles with the dog through wet fields. I love it when it rains now, just so that I can wear them.
I work in horticulture, and these boots are perfect for gardening and working outside in the wet.
I spent a long time searching for a wellington boot made from rubber, and in as ecologically sound a way as possible. Kamik, the company, are trying hard to be responsible from their factory and production processes upwards; many of their boots are recycled or recyclable.
If you're looking for a comfortable and durable multi-purpose wellington boot with an ecological edge, then I highly recommend Kamik.
[Regarding size: I usually wear UK size 6 which are usually a little bit big for me (I am really a 5.5). I ordered the UK 6 in Kamik and they fit me perfectly, which probably means that they would be a snug 6 (rather than a roomy one.) Hope that makes sense.
